PHMG (Polyhexamethylene Guanidine Hydrochloride) is the organic ingredient that makes up the MultiDez treatment products.
MultiDez has been developed over many years by our Chief Scientist, Dmitry Svetlov Ph.D.
Our original technology was developed to safely control and
prevent Biodegradation in construction.Over 10 years' development has seen MultiDez/Telex
progress to uses in medical and social settings.
When applied the MultiDez product bonds to any surface; remaining active even when dry. MultiDez penetrates into the cell through the cell wall, blocks the action of enzymes, thus breaking the reproductive ability of
nucleic acids and proteins, inhibits the respiratory system of cells, which in turn leads to the death of the microorganism.
Only friction, abrasion or washing over time will wear the MultiDez down so it eventually becomes less effective. However repeated treatments will enhance the anti-microbial action of the MultiDez product.
